1) Genetic history- if it runs in your family, it runs in your genes. So if your parents are diabetic you need to take care of your diet and exercise.


2) Poor lifestyle - A person not making mindful eating choices, that person is more prone to diabetes.


3) Obesity- Obese person are more prone to this disease.


4) Inactivity - Inactivity reduces your metabolism and increases the chance of developing diabetes.


5) Age- As you age changes of you getting diabetes increases.


6) Blood lipid levels- Get your LDL and triglyceride and maintain the levels.


7) PCOS - Women with PCOS are more prone to diabetes.
